Tribal HELM has been engaged by DEL to develop a Requirements Specification for the Department’s Line of Business Applications (LoBAs). The Requirements Specification will then be used in an Open Tender Procurement to invite bids from organisations willing to provide the support and development of the LoBAs. These applications will be essential to assist the Department’s operations and service delivery from April 2009 when the current IT contract with Fujitsu ends. An accurate Requirements Specification is needed by the Department so that potential contractors have the information required to make realistic bids to deliver the service.
